Racial Justice
The ACLU Racial Justice Program, named for long-time ACLU director Dick Kurtenbach, aims to preserve and extend the constitutional rights of people of color. Committed to combating racism in all its forms, our advocacy includes litigation, community organizing and training, legislative initiatives, and public education.

The ACLU Racial Justice Program includes a local educational component, the Immigrants' Rights Project, which focuses on the rights of immigrants and refugees in Kansas and Missouri. Learn more about ACLU's Immigrants' Rights Project.
Reproductive Freedom
The ACLU Reproductive Freedom Project protects everyone's right to make informed decisions free from government interference about whether and when to become a parent.
We work with partner organizations across Kansas and Missouri to defeat legislation which undermines the ability of women to access reproductive health care, including birth control, family planning, and abortion.
We inform ACLU members and other interested people in our region about rallies, decisions by elected or appointed officials, legislation and other events related to reproductive freedom. Let us know if you want to be on our email list.
Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Rights
The next ACLU LGBT Taskforce Meeting will be September 27th from 5:00-6:00pm at the ACLU office.
The ACLU LGBT Project fights discrimination and moves public opinion on LGBT rights through the courts, legislatures and public education. Learn more about ACLU's LGBT Project.
